Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an update regarding TurboBird, my repository specifically updated and structured for Lazarus 4.8 and Firebird 5 (available at github.com/scozzaro/TurboBird_for_laz_48).
After extensive testing across different environments (including macOS and Linux systems), I'm glad to report that the latest version runs completely stable without throwing errors during execution or shutdown.
Key updates in this version:
Full compatibility with Lazarus 4.8 and modern Firebird 5 features.
Removed GTK theme dependencies, making the interface cleaner, more independent, and avoiding cross-platform rendering quirks on Linux/Unix environments.
Code cleanups and memory stability fixes across form lifecycles.
I would love to get some feedback from the community, especially regarding cross-platform behavior, performance, and any suggestions to further improve the codebase. Feel free to test it, open issues, or drop your thoughts here!
